Numerous county roads and farm to market roads were closed due to high water. At least two bridges and one farm to market road were washed out, and a house was flooded in Oglesby.
One home was evacuated and many roads were flooded and closed. Flood damage occurred at a softball field and to some classrooms at the McLennan Community College. Numerous roads and highways in the area were flooded.
Main Street flooded...with water backing up into two businesses as nearly 4 inches of rain fell.
Heavy rains up to 4 inches in some areas resulted in widespread street flooding closing many streets and flooding the parking garage at the library. FM 3117, located just southeast of Temple, was covered with 2 feet of water at 1130 am. Interstate 35 was closed for a short time in the early afternoon betweenPendleton and Bruceville-Eddy.
A high water rescue took place just south of Crawford.
