A Heavy Snow Warning was issued for the above zone above 5500 feet. The warning level was lowered to 5000 feet at 0500 PST on 11/08/03. It was downgraded to a snow advisory at 0429 PST on 11/09/03. This warning turned out to be a good one at high elevations. Sand Flat at 6750 feet reported 4 inches of water content in the snow that fell between 1200 PST on 11/7 and 0600 PST on 11/09/03. No other verifying snow observations were recorded.
