.SYNOPSIS...AN UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER SOUTHERN BRITISH COLUMBIA TONIGHT
WILL MOVE SOUTH THROUGH EASTERN WASHINGTON AND OREGON ON SATURDAY.
BANDS OF SHOWERS ROTATING AROUND THE LOW WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
THROUGH THE AREA THROUGH SATURDAY. HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS TO BUILD INTO
THE REGION SUNDAY MARKING THE START OF A DRIER AND WARMER WEEK.

.DISCUSSION...SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS VORT LOBE MOVING INLAND RIGHT
OVER THE OLYMPICS. THIS FEATURE IS INTERACTING WITH THE CONVERGENCE
ZONE TO PRODUCE SOME CONVECTION. NUMEROUS REPORTS OF SMALL HAIL FROM
PORT ORCHARD TO WOODINVILLE TO SEATTLE. EXPECT THE CONVECTIVE
ACTIVITY TO CONTINUE UNTIL THE EARLY EVENING HOURS BEFORE THE AIR
MASS STABILIZES A LITTLE ONCE THE SUN GOES DOWN. EXPECT WITH THE
NORTHWESTERLY FLOW ALOFT THE CONVERGENCE ZONE WILL MOVE SOUTH OF THE
METRO AREA THIS EVENING. SURFACE PRESSURE PATTERN INDICATES THE
POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER CONVERGENCE ZONE FORMING TONIGHT AT THE EAST
ENTRANCE OF THE STRAIT. MM5 PICKS UP ON THIS BUT KEEPS THE
CONVERGENCE ZONE NORTH OF THE METRO AREA. 12Z MODELS RUNS ARE
CONSISTENT IN MOVING THE LOW DOWN THROUGH EASTERN WASHINGTON INTO
EASTERN OREGON BY SATURDAY NIGHT. MOISTURE WRAPPING AROUND THE LOW
REMAINING OVER MOST OF WESTERN WASHINGTON DURING THE DAY. THIS IS A
LITTLE SLOWER THAN THE 00Z MODELS AND GIVEN THE TROUGH ALONG THE WEST
COAST IS STILL DIGGING A SLOWER SOLUTION LOOKS REASONABLE. WILL KEEP
SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST FOR THE SOUTHWEST INTERIOR ALL DAY AND SLOW
DOWN THE CLEARING OVER CENTRAL PUGET SOUND. ONCE THE LOW MOVES OUT OF
THE AREA DRYING TREND BEGINS WITH NORTHEASTERLY FLOW ALOFT. SURFACE
GRADIENTS REMAIN ONSHORE THROUGH MONDAY. TEMPS ALOFT WARM UP QUICKLY
