830 PM EDT...

AT 740 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A STRONG
THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 3 MILES NORTHWEST OF CHESNEE...OR OVER THE NORTH
CAROLINA BORDER. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 15 MPH
AND IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE AREA FROM CHESNEE TO FINGERVILLE TO
CAMPOBELLO...INCLUDING THE LAKE BOWEN AREA. WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50
MPH...SMALL HAIL...AND TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS WILL ACCOMPANY THIS
THUNDERSTORM. BE PREPARED TO ACT QUICKLY IF A WARNING IS ISSUED.
