Numerous streams and creeks spilled their banks from very heavy thunderstorm rains across several parts of the county. There were numerous roads flooded in Colchester, Andes, and Hancock which were the hardest hit areas. The Red Cross was activated in Delaware County to assist displaced residents from the floods. This was the second flash flood event in the county in less than 24 hours.
