THINGS STILL RUNNING PRETTY MUCH AS PREDICTED BY MODELS...WITH THE
EXCEPTION THAT LOW WAS SUPPOSE TO TRACK TO THE SE. LOW CURRENTLY
LOCATED OVER THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE STATE NEAR ELP. SO IF ANYTHING
IS MAKING ITS WESTWARD PROGRESSION A LITTLE SOONER THAN MODELS
PREDICTED. UPPER LEVEL RDG WILL CONTINUE TO PRESS INTO THE STATE
FROM THE NORTHWEST WHICH WILL BEGIN TO PUT A DAMPER ON PRECIP CHANCES
ACROSS THE STATE. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM SHOULD BEGIN TO DECREASE
IN AREAL COVERAGE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. HOWEVER...WITH LOW STILL
VERY NEAR THE AREA...AND WITH DWPTS RELATIVELY HIGH...WILL PROBABLY
SEE ANOTHER ROUND OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NEW
MEXICO TODAY AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS. AFTER TONIGHT...WILL
FORECAST A GENERAL DECREASE IN AREAL COVERAGE THROUGH THE REMAINDER
OF THE FORECAST PERIOD. WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE LATE IN THE
EXTENDED...AVN BRINGING IN A W/SHIFT AND AN INCREASE IN MOISTURE TO
THE AREA...AT THIS POINT DO NOT HAVE GOOD CONFIDENCE IN THEM AS
THEY HAVE NOT DONE TOO WELL WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION. WILL STICK
WITH WHAT IS CURRENTLY FORECAST FOR NOW.
