TONIGHT & MON...UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT AND MONDAY.
ANOTHER TROUGH SITUATED ACROSS WESTERN WYOMING WILL MOVE NORTHEAST OVER
OUR FORECAST AREA THIS EVENING THROUGH TONIGHT. IN ADDITION...AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE OVER THE AREA DURING THIS TIME AS WELL.
THIS IS PRODUCING A LARGE AREA OF RAIN ACROSS THE WESTERN AND CENTRAL
ZONES THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING. A THUNDERSTORM
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. HOWEVER...THE MOST FAVORABLE AREA FOR
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ACROSS SOUTHERN BIG HORN COUNTY AND POINTS EAST
AND SOUTH...WHERE ONE OR TWO STORMS MAY BE STRONG OR SEVERE.

MON THROUGH WED...ONCE THIS DISTURBANCE MOVES TO THE EAST LATE
TONIGHT...FLOW ALOFT WILL BECOME NW BY EARLY MONDAY MORNING. NW FLOW
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WED WITH A FEW WEAK EMBEDDED SHORTWAVES MOVING
THROUGH IT. WILL CONTINUE WITH A CHANCE OF A SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM
THROUGH TUES. TEMPS WILL REMAIN COOL THROUGH MONDAY BEFORE WARMING TO
AROUND 70 DEGREES ON TUE WITH LOWER TO MID 70S WED.  HOOLEY

UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL STRETCH ACROSS EASTERN MONTANA ON THURSDAY IN
ADVANCE OF A SHORTWAVE TROUGH WHICH MOVES ACROSS THE STATE ON THURSDAY
NIGHT. ALL EXTENDED MODELS SUGGEST A DEEP TROUGH DEVELOPING OVER THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST FRIDAY AND INTO SATURDAY...THEN SWINGS THIS TROUGH
ACROSS MONTANA ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. WILL INTRODUCE THE MENTION OF
SHOWERS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AND KEEP TEMPERATURES ON THE COOL SIDE.
WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY ABOVE SEASONAL NORMS FOR THURSDAY
BEFORE SHOWING A SLIGHT COOLING TREND INTO THE WEEKEND. MEIER
