DEVELOPMENT SLIGHTLY AHEAD OF WIND SHIFT LINE WITH THICKNESS
DIFFLUENCE ALONG ND/SD/MN BORDER THIS EVENING. FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL
SETTLE FROM CBG TO MML BY 12Z. THE FORECAST CHALLENGE FOR FRIDAY IS
TO FINE TUNE THE LOCATION OF HEAVIEST RAINFALL. SHOWERS EXPECTED TO
FORM ALNG BOUNDARY PER AVIATON MODEL DURING FRIDAY IN THE SOUTHWEST
AND SPREAD EAST NORTHEAST BY EVENING. PROLONGED PERIOD OF RAIN COULD
LEAD TO ACCUMULATIONS TOTALS UP TO TWO INCHES BY 12Z SAT. HAVE
INCREASED TEMPS IN NRN CWA OVER MOS WITH THE CHANCE THAT ANY SUN
WILL BOOST DAYTIME TEMPS WELL INTO 70S. 700MB WAVE MOVES THROUGH ON
FRI NIGHT AND UPR RDG PROVIDES VERY WARM AND GENERALLY DRY WEATHER
THROUGH SUNDAY. WILL STILL HOLD ON TO SOME SMALL POPS IN THE WESTERN
PORTION OF CWA. BY SUNDAY NIGHT AIRMASS WILL BE RIPE FOR ANOTHER
ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS AS HEIGHTS LOWER AND 700MB TROUGH LIFTS OUT
TO THE WEST OF MN.
