WRN CONUS RIDGE SHOWING SIGNS OF WEAKENING AS MULTIPLE WAVES ROTATE
TOWARDS AND AROUND THIS RIDGE. W/V LOOP SUGGESTING THE TRACK WILL
TAKE THE BEST DYNAMICS FROM THE FIRST TWO WAVES NORTH OF THE AREA
TODAY AND THEN AGAIN ON TUESDAY. HOWEVER WITH A WESTERLY, THEN
SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW DEVELOPING EACH SUCCESSIVE WAVE MAY TAKE A MORE
SOUTHERN TRACK AS THEY CROSS THE PLAINS THROUGH MID WEEK. MODELS
ALSO SHOWING A NEARLY STATIONARY LEE TROF OVER WESTERN KS THE NEXT
FEW DAYS WHICH SEEMS TO BE REASONABLE SOLUTION.

AS FOR TONIGHT...DECENT INSTAB PRESENT OVER WESTERN KS AHEAD OF OUR
LEE TROF WHICH EXTENDED ACROSS WESTERN KS. 7-5H DELTA TS AT 12Z
RANGE FROM 20 TO 25 AND MODIFIED DDC SOUNDING FOR A HIGH OF 95
SHOWING CAPES OF 3000 J/KG.  WITH WEAK CONVERGENCE ALONG OUR TROF,
AND THE INSTAB PRESENT WILL KEEP 20 POPS GOING. WILL HOLD OFF
MENTION OF SEVERE AT THIS TIME, BUT AGREE WITH SPC THAT HAIL WILL
LIKELY BE A THREAT FOR A FEW HOURS. GRADIENT WINDS EXPECTED TO
SUBSIDE SOME OVERNIGHT AS ONE S/W TROF CROSSES THE NORTHERN PLAINS,
THEN INCREASE AGAIN ON TUESDAY AS YET ANOTHER WAVE APPROACHES.

ON TUESDAY ALONG WITH THE WIND 7H TEMPS PROGGED BY ETA AND AVN TO
RANGE FROM 14-17C OVER WESTERN KS. STILL HAVING GOOD INSTAB IN PLACE
ALOFT AND SOME MCON PRESENT ALONG OUR SFC BOUNDARY IN WRN KS ONCE
AGAIN LATE IN THE DAY. NEXT S/W TROF LIKELY TO STAY TO OUR NORTH SO
ONCE AGAIN CONVECTION APPEARS TO RELY ON CONV ALONG OUR BOUNDARY AND
WILL BE ELEVATED. GIVEN THE VERY WARM 7H TEMPS BY 00Z WED THE
CONVECTION (IF IT OCCURS) WILL LIKELY BE LATE. WILL KEEP SLT CHC
POPS GOING BUT MENTION IT ONLY FOR TUESDAY EVENING AND EAST OF OUR
BOUNDARY.

ON WEDNESDAY, MID LVL WINDS BACK MORE TO THE SOUTHWEST. MORE
MOISTURE PRESENT OVER WESTERN KS AHEAD OF OUR PERSISTENT LEE TROF.
LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER HOT AND WINDY DAY FOR WESTERN KS, BUT GIVEN SOME
ADDITIONAL MOISTURE TO WORK WITH WILL TRIM A FEW DEGREES OF HIGHS ON
TUESDAY. AS FOR TEMPERATURES ON TUESDAY WILL FOLLOW THE WARMER ETA
8H TEMP PROGS WHICH PLACE UPPER 90S OVER MUCH OF WESTERN KS. ADD ON
TO THIS DOWNSLOPE WARMING ALONG AND BEHIND OUR DRYLINE THEN TEMPS
SHOULD HAVE NO TROUBLE REACHING 100 IN A FEW LOCATIONS TUESDAY
AFTERNOON.
