DAYS 1-2...

PERSISTENT MID/UPPER TROP HIGH WILL REMAIN ANCHORED OVER THE WESTERN
CONUS. UPPER LOW OVER MINNESOTA WILL MOVE SOUTH DURING THE NEXT 48
HOURS. AT THE SURFACE, SEVERAL OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES HELPING TO MASK
COLD FRONT OVER THE CWA EARLY THIS MORNING. BULK OF COOLER AIR,
HOWEVER, REMAINS OVER NEBRASKA. WITH ONGOING MORNING CONVECTION AND
OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES LITTERING THE CWA FOR THIS AFTERNOON, WILL PLAN
TO CARRY CHANCE POPS CWA-WIDE FOR TODAY. WITH CAA AND MORE CLOUD
OVERHEAD, HIGHS TODAY WILL BE SOME 10 DEGS COOLER THAN WHAT OCCURRED
WEDNESDAY.

FOR TONIGHT...COOLER AND SOMEWHAT DRIER AIR WILL WORK ITS WAY SOUTH
OVER THE CWA DURING TONIGHT. WITH BEST LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE
CONVERGENCE OVER THE SE CWA, WILL PLAN TO CARRY CHANCE POPS THIS
AREA. LOWS WILL BE CLOSE TO FWC NUMBERS.

FOR FRIDAY...COOLER AIR WILL BE IN PLACE THIS PERIOD. HIGHS WILL BE
PROBLEMATIC BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF CLOUD. WITH UPPER LOW JUST TO
OUR NORTHEAST BY FRIDAY, LOWER CLOUDS WILL BE CONFINED TO THE
CENTRAL AND EASTERN CWA. AT THIS POINT, WILL GRADIENT HIGHS FROM
COOLEST TO WARMEST NORTHEAST TO SOUTHWEST. POPS FOR FRIDAY AND
FRIDAY NIGHT WILL BE NIL.

DAYS 3-7...

GOING EXTENDED LOOKS ON TRACK AND NO CHANGES ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS
CYCLE.  TOOK A QUICK LOOK AT ETA, AVN AND UKMET AND THE DRY TREND
SEEMS REASONABLE.  BACK INTO THE OVEN HEATER BY SATURDAY AND
CONTINUING INTO TUESDAY.  BY DAY 7, WEDNESDAY, THERE MAY BE ENOUGH
MOISTURE RETURN FROM GULF TO GENERATE AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS.
