UPPER MS VALLEY...CONTINUED TO MOVE ACROSS THE ERN U.S. THIS
AFTERNOON. 30KT 850MB SWRLY INFLOW...DEWPOINTS IN THE LOWER 70S...
AND INSOLATION IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON HELPED TO GENERATE A LINE OF
SHWS IN THE MODERATELY UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE JUST AHEAD OF THE CLOUD
SHIELD ASSOCIATED WITH THE APPROACHING TROF. THE LINE OF SHWS...WITH
SOME THUNDER INCLUDED...WERE CONFINED TO S IL IN THE EARLY STAGES.
88D ALSO INDICATED SOME CONVECTION OCCURRING E OF THE LBL.

MODELS IN GOOD AGREEMENT WITH DEPICTING THE MOVEMENT OF THE S/W AS
IT SINKS SE THRU TUE. CHCS OF PRECIP IN THE OVERNIGHT HOURS SHOULD
BE DIMINISHED IN THE NW PART OF THE FCST AREA AS THE S/W WILL BE
MOSTLY SE OF THERE...MAY STILL PUT A SLIGHT CHC IN. ELSEWHERE...
WITHOUT SFC HEATING...CHCS OF RAIN WILL BE RATHER SMALL. SPRINGLIKE
20-25 MPH SFC WINDS WILL SUBSIDE TONIGHT AS THE PRESSURE GRADIENT
RELAXES. THE WEAK SFC BOUNDARY SHOULD WASH OUT NEAR THE AR/TN BORDER
ON TUE...BUT A UPPER SHEAR ZONE AND LINGERING MOISTURE WILL STILL
EXIST IN THE SE PORTION OF THE FCST AREA TUE AFTN...JUSTIFYING A
SMALL CHC OF PRECIP THERE FOR THAT PERIOD.

NRN STREAM BECOMES MORE ZONAL FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK WHILE THE FA
WILL BE UNDER A HIGH PRESSURE/LIGHT WINDS REGIME. 12Z AVN RUN NO
LONGER DEPICTS THE DOUBTFUL PRECIP BULLSEYE FOR WED...MORE DRY WX IS
EXPECTED THRU DAY7 AS RIDGE BUILDS E.

NUMERICAL GUIDANCE SHOWS DIFFERENCES ESPECIALLY FOR THE WED
HIGHS...WITH FWC TENDING TO BE WARMEST. WILL CONTINUE WITH 90 TO 95
WORDING THRU WED...AND MAY COOL TUE NIGHT POST-FRONTAL LOWS IN THE
SOUTH A CAT.
