AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 210 PM EST SUN MAR 31 2002 WEAK HIGH PRESSURE OVER INDIANA TODAY. MAIN PROBLEM WILL BE THE CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION TONIGHT. THIS AFTERNOON RADAR HAS VERY SLOW MOVING AREA OF RAIN OVER NORTHERN IL. THERE HAS BEEN SOME DEVELOPMENT AHEAD OF THIS AREA. THIS PCPN IS ASSOCIATIED WITH COLD FRONT AND PVA. THE PVA WEAKENS AS IT MOVES EAST. THE MAIN PROBLEM WILL BE SOUTHERN EXTENT OF THE PCPN. WILL HAVE TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS AT LAST MINUTE (IFPS LAST MINUTE WHICH WILL BE AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE FORECAST ISSUANCE). BOTH MODELS LIKE FREEZING SO WILL GO NEAR THAT. DRIER WEATHER MOVING IN ON MONDAY. 850 MB SHOW GOOD WAA. WILL GO LITTLE HIGHER THAN GUID TEMPS. WILL HOLD OFF ANY PCPN UNTIL MON NGHT WHEN PVA START TO MOVE IN. WILL GO CHC POPS MON NGT. TEMPS NEAR GUID. .IND...NONE. HAINES
