COLD FRONT CURRENTLY MARCHING THROUGH WESTERN CAROLINAS. SOME
CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY HAS DEVELOPED ACROSS PEE DEE AND NORTHERN
COAST...BUT DESPITE MODERATE INSTABILITY...WEAK OMEGA AND LOW DEW
POINTS PREVENTING STORMS FROM FORMING OVER CAE FORECAST AREA. MAY
NEED TO ISSUE SEPARATE EVENING PERIOD IF STORMS DEVELOP BEFORE
SENDING OUT ZONES...OTHERWISE WILL JUST MENTION PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES
TONIGHT. MODELS SHOWING FRONT TEMPORARILY STALLING OFFSHORE WITH A
WEAK WAVE DEVELOPING ON IT. COUPLED WITH NORTHEAST FLOW AT THE
SURFACE BEHIND FRONT...THURSDAY LOOKS TO BE A MOSTLY CLOUDY DAY
ACROSS AREA BUT NO RAIN EXPECTED. AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL BE WELL BELOW
NORMAL. BY FRIDAY HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD INTO THE AREA
AND HELP TO PUSH OUT ANY RESIDUAL MOISTURE. HIGH PRESSURE REMAINING
ACROSS THE STATE THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.

FOR THE EXTENDED...NEXT FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST BY LATE
MONDAY BRINGING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS LATE MONDAY INTO EARLY TUESDAY.
HIGH PRESSURE REBUILDS OVER THE AREA BY WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES
SHOULD RETURN TO NEAR NORMAL READINGS AFTER THE FRONTAL PASSAGE.
