THE BERMUDA RIDGE...NO CLEARLY DEFINED RIDGE AXIS APPARENT ON LATEST
RUC40 ANALYSIS.  CONTINENTAL HI OVER NEW ENGLAND IS MOVING OFFSHORE
AND IS BEGINNING TO MERGE W/THE BERMUDA RIDGE.  OPEN T-WV OVER THE
BAHAMAS MARCHING STEADILY EWD.  PW VALUES OFF THE LCL 12Z RAOBS
RANGE FROM 1.7 AT KMFL TO 2.1 AT MYNN.

H85-H70...THETA-E RIDGES AND OMEGA LIFT MAXES NOTED OVER N FL AND
THE BAHAMAS ARE IN TANDEM WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE SFC FEATURES.

H50-H25...S/WV TROF OVER THE GOMEX HAS PINCHED OFF INTO A WEAK
CLOSED LOW AT H50...WEAK VORTICITY AXIS EXTENDS FROM THE CENTRAL
GOMEX ACROSS THE CENTRAL FL PENINSULA.  H25 COUPLED JET PATTERN
OVER THE ERN GOMEX AND ALONG THE CAROLINA COAST ARE PRODUCING GOOD
UPR LVL DIV...LCL H25 DIV NOTED W/THE APPROACHING T-WV AS WELL.

FCST DISC...
COLLISION OF THE EWD MOVING T-WV WITH THE STATIONARY TROF OVER N FL
APPEARS IMMINENT.  WITH HIGH MOISTURE AND AN UNSTABLE AMS IN
PLACE....THU LOOKS TO BE A WASHOUT.  T-WV IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO FL THAT
IT WILL BEGIN AFFECTING THE CWA OVERNIGHT...WILL GO WITH LIKELY POPS
ALONG THE COAST AND HI SCT OVER INTERIOR...AND CATEGORICAL POPS
AREAWIDE ON THU.

QUESTIONS ENTER INTO PLAY ON THU NIGHT/FRI IN THE WAKE OF THE T-WV.
THE 60/80 POPS ON AVN MOS ARE SUSPECT AS SINKING MOTION AND DRIER
AIR BEHIND THE WV WILL WORK TO SUPRESS CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY.  ETA/NGM
GUIDANCE LOOK MORE REASONABLE WITH 30/50 POPS.  ETA IS OVERDOING THE
SUPRESSION THU NIGHT ALONG THE COAST S OF KXMR W/POPS AOB 20 PCT BY
PLACING THE SE CWA UNDER THE RF QUAD OF A +50KT H25 JET WHILE
ADVECTING DRIER AIR ON SHORE.  AMS BEHIND THE T-WV IS NOT THAT DRY.
WHILE PW VALUES OFF THE TJSJ SOUNDING DID DROP FROM 2.1 TO 1.5
FROM 12Z TUE TO 12Z WED...1.5 PW IS STILL PLENTY TO KEEP SCT POPS
IN THE FCST.

INVERTED TROF WILL REMAIN TRAPPED ALONG THE SE COAST THROUGH SAT AS
THE CONTINENTAL HI OVER NEW ENGLAND MERGES WITH THE BERMUDA HI...
RESULTING IN A RIDGE AXIS THAT EXTENDS FROM THE GEORGES BANK DOWN
THE SPINE OF THE APPALACHIAN MTNS.  TROF WILL EVENTUALLY BREAK DOWN
ON SUN AS THE RIDGE AXIS IS ERODED BY A STORM SYSTEM OVER THE WRN
PLAINS.  SERLY SFC-H70 FLOW WILL DEVELOP AND TAP TROPICAL
MOISTURE...KEEPING SCT POPS IN THE FCST FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.

MARINE...THE APPRROACHING T-WV WILL KEEP THE PGRAD DISRUPTED
OVERNIGHT...RESULTING IN A GRADIENT FLOW AOB ONE BARB.  SE WINDS
WILL PICK UP BEHIND THE T-WV ON THU...BUT GIVEN THE OPEN NATURE OF
THE WAVE...WINDS/SEAS SHOULD REMAIN BLO THE NEED FOR ANY STATEMENTS.
