TODAY...WITH BEST CHANCES INLAND AND SOUTH WHERE BEST SURFACE
CONVERGENCE WILL RESIDE. WILL JUST CLEAN UP THE WORDING.

SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR AT THE MID AND UPPER LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE ARE
EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTHWARD INTO AREAS WELL NORTH OF THE TAMPA
BAY REGION BY THIS AFTERNOON. THIS MEANS ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY FROM ROUGHLY BROOKSVILLE NORTHWARD.
ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA...CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE A LITTLE HIGHER.

ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO FORM OVER THE
EASTERN GULF WATERS EARLY THIS MORNING...THEN MOVE TOWARD THE COASTAL
COUNTIES OF WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA BY LATER IN THE MORNING AND INTO THE
EARLY AFTERNOON. LOW LEVEL WINDS ARE AGAIN EXPECTED TO BE
NORTHWEST...WHICH WILL HELP PUSH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
INLAND AND REDEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON EARLY EVENING. THE BEST
CHANCES FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
GENERALLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM LAKE WALES IN EASTERN POLK COUNTY...TO
VENICE IN SARASOTA COUNTY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BECOME SEVERE TODAY. HOWEVER...
ANY STRONGER STORMS...ESPECIALLY OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN
INTERIOR COUNTIES THIS AFTERNOON...COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL OF 2 TO 3 INCHES AND GUSTY WINDS OF UP TO 30 MPH.
REMEMBER...ALL THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DEADLY CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING.
