WARM UPPER RIDGE STILL DOMINATES THE SOUTHWEST USA INCLUDING CO AND
SHD STAY THIS WAY THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. FOR TONIGHT WILL KEEP
THE CURRENT SCT POPS AS LOWER AS MID LVL WINDS REMAIN WEAK EASTERLY
UP TO NEAR 700MB. WATER VAPOR CHAN SHOWS IT BEST THE MINOR
DISTURBANCE ALREADY FIRING CONVECTION OVER HIGHER TRRN. SFC DEWPTS
ARE HOLDING UP IN THE MID 40S TO MID 50S THIS AFTN. FCST CAPE VALUES
REMAIN HIGHEST OUT EAST WITH LIMITED CIN AND SHORT TERM MDLS
INDICATING LATE NIGHT PRECIP CONT INTO NE/KS. WINDS ALOFT ARE WEAK
AND STORM MOTION WILL BE SLOW. TOMORROW LOOKS SIMILAR TO TDY WITH
EASTERLY WINDS AGAIN UP TO NEAR 700 BUT FLOW ALOFT IS MORE NORTHERLY
AND SLIGHTLY STRONGER. 700MB TEMPS COOL ROUGHLY 3-4 DEGC FROM TDYS
TEMPS AND THIS MAY SUPPORT A BETTER CHANCE FOR HAIL FROM STORMS WITH
AN EVER SO SLIGHTLY LOWER WETBULB ZERO. SEE NO REASON TO CHNG
CURRENT SCT POPS FCST FOR WED/WED EVE ATTM. STARTING TO LOOK LIKE A
WET SEASON REGIME AGAIN FOR THURS AND FRI WITH TWO MORE DAYS LIKE
THE PREVIOUS. A MORE DISORGANIZED AND SLIGHTLY WEAKER UPPER RIDGE IS
NOT EXPECTED TO MOVE MUCH BOTH DAYS. SUFFICIENT MOISTURE FOR STORMS
REMAINS HELD MAINLY EAST OF THE DIVIDE AND STORM VENTILATION AGAIN
LOOKS WEAK WITH HEAVY RAINERS FROM SLOW MOVERS PROBABLE.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION: SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...AVN SHOWS THE UPPER
RIDGE DEVELOPING MORE TO THE EAST OVER THE CENTRAL USA. MID AND LOW
LVL FLOW FAIL TO GO SOUTHWEASTERLY UNTIL SUNDAY WHEN MRF SHOWS LOWER
RHS ESPECAILLY MON AND TUE. JET STREAM WINDS OVER THE NORTHERN USA
ROCKIES PRODUCES A LEESIDE LOW OVR WRN WYO FOR MON WITH A LEE TROF
EXTENDING SOUTHWARD OVR ERN COLO FOR MON AND TUE. THIS MAY MAKE FOR
A WARMER AND DRYER PD. WILL KEEP THE SLIGHT CHNC FOR STORMS GOING IN
THE EXTENDED. DRYEST AND WARMEST DAYS LOOK TO BE MON AND TUE. FREDIN
