UPPER LOW ANALYZED OVER SHREVEPORT AREA THIS MORNING AND SATELLITE
AND RADAR LOOPS SUPPORT IT. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE
DEVELOPED ACROSS THE AREA FROM HEATING WITH ABOUT EQUAL COVERAGE IN
ALL AREAS. EXPECT CONVECTION TO DECREASE WITH LOSS OF HEATING...BUT
WITH TROF AXIS TO THE WEST AND PLENTIFUL MOISTURE WILL KEEP 30
PERCENT POPS IN FOR TONIGHT ACROSS THE WHOLE AREA. TROF AXIS WILL BE
IN ABOUT THE SAME POSITION ON WEDNESDAY ALTHOUGH HEIGHTS RISE A
LITTLE. THINK WEDNESDAY WILL BE LIKE TODAY AND WILL GO WITH 40 TO 50
PERCENT POPS ACROSS THE AREA FOR THE AFTERNOON. TEMPS SHOULD BE NEAR
PERSISTENCE. WILL CONTINUE WITH 30 PERCENT POPS IN MOST AREAS FOR
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. MODELS NOW SHOW STRONGER UPPER TROF MOVING THROUGH
THE NORTHEAST BY THURSDAY AND HAVE IT PICK UP THE UPPER TROF IN THIS
AREA AND SHEAR IT TO THE EAST. DO NOT KNOW WHETHER TO BELIEVE THIS
COMPLETELY OR NOT BUT TROF AXIS SHEARS FROM ARKANSAS INTO THE
SOUTHEAST AND A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY MOVES INTO THE AREA. IF THIS
DOES TAKE PLACE...IT WILL LIKELY RESULT IN ABOUT THE SAME CONDITIONS
AS WHAT IS ALREADY FORECAST FOR LATER IN THE WEEK. WILL DECREASE
POPS THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY...GOING WITH 40 PERCENT IN THE EAST AND
SOUTH CLOSER TO THE SHEAR AXIS AND 30 PERCENT ELSEWHERE FOR THURSDAY
THEN A BROAD BRUSH 30 PERCENT FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. WILL CONTINUE
WITH 20 PERCENT POPS THE REST OF THE TIME. TEMPS LIKELY WILL EDGE UP
A LITTLE. BY EARLY NEXT WEEK...HEIGHTS CONTINUE TO BUILD WITH
PLENTIFUL MOISTURE REMAINING. LOOKS LIKE AREA WILL MOVE TOWARD A
SUMMERTIME PATTERN WITH A 20 PERCENT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS
