AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LITTLE ROCK AR 1056 AM CDT WED JUL 17 2002 RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE MOVING EAST ACROSS THE CWFA. MOST ACTIVITY IS LIGHT BUT A FEW AREAS OF MODERATE RAIN ARE NOTED ON KLZK RADAR. THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO NOTED IN EASTERN OKLAHOMA. UPDATED ZONES TO REMOVE MORNING WORDING. ALSO...REDUCED TEMPERATURES SEVERAL DEGREES IN ALL ZONES. CLOUD COVER AND RAIN WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES DOWN AGAIN TODAY. THE NORTH AND THE SOUTHEAST WILL SEE A FEW BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS HOWEVER...WHICH WILL ALLOW A LITTLE MORE WARMTH ESPECIALLY SOUTHEAST. 80 TO 85 DEGREES LOOKS REASONABLE FOR CENTRAL AND WEST AREAS. AS THE HIGH PRESSURE IN THE SOUTH TRIES TO MOVE NORTH INTO ARKANSAS...THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE PUSHED NORTHWARD TODAY. CENTRAL AND WEST SECTIONS HAVE THE BEST CHANCE OF PRECIP AND WILL GO LIKELY IN THESE AREAS. .LZK...NONE. 51
