A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING...OTHERWISE LOOKS
MOSTLY DRY TONIGHT. REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM BERTHA MOVING INTO
SOUTHERN LOUISIANA THIS AFTERNOON...AND MOVING PRETTY MUCH TO THE
WEST. LOOKS LIKE SYSTEM WILL REMAIN MOSTLY SOUTH OF ARKANSAS
OVERNIGHT.

NEXT FEATURE TO WATCH WILL BE A COLD FRONT WHICH WILL HEAD INTO
ARKANSAS FROM THE NORTHEAST ON TUESDAY/TUESDAY NIGHT. SCATTERED
SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG FRONT ON
TUESDAY...MAINLY DURING THE HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON. PRECIPITATION
WILL MAINLY AFFECT NORTHERN/CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE STATE. RAIN WILL
BECOME MORE ISOLATED TUESDAY EVENING AS THE FRONT REACHES INTO
SOUTHERN ARKANSAS.

ON WEDNESDAY...WILL CONTINUE WILL SLIGHT CHANCE OF
SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH AND WEST BEFORE FRONT FINALLY
DEPARTS. OTHERWISE...MUCH DRIER AND SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR WILL BE
FOUND BEHIND THE FRONT.

LOOKING AHEAD...DRY WEATHER IN STORE THURSDAY. WIND FLOW WILL BECOME
MORE SOUTHERLY ON FRIDAY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT IN THE PLAINS.
MOISTURE WILL BEGIN INCREASING WITH A CHANCE OF
SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTH/WEST ARKANSAS.

CLOUDS/PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL GO UP ON SATURDAY/EARLY SUNDAY AS
FRONT FROM PLAINS CROSSES THE STATE. DRY WEATHER WILL RETURN EARLY
NEXT WEEK...WITH YET ANOTHER FRONT ON THE WAY FROM PLAINS TOWARD
MIDWEEK.
