BERTHA IS INLAND AND MOVING WESTWARD THROUGH SOUTHERN LOUISIANA WITH
THE ONLY EFFECT TO THE MID SOUTH BEING A SLIGHT INCREASE IN THE
EASTERLY WINDS.

MODELS ARE CONSISTENT IN BRINGING A BACK DOOR COLD FRONT THROUGH
THE AREA TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. THE FRONT WILL NOT ENHANCE LOW
LEVEL CONVERGENCE AND SHOULD NOT BE A BIG PRECIPITATION MAKER.
CURRENT POPS FOR TUESDAY AND TUESDAY EVENING CERTAINLY LOOK
REASONABLE. THIS APPEARS TO BE THE ONLY REAL CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION
BEFORE SUNDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY LOWER
TOMORROW WITH COOLER AND DRIER AIR MOVING OVER THE AREA TUESDAY
NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.
