Gusty northeast "Matanuska" winds to 67 mph were recorded at the Wasilla Fire Station. Winds below 10 mph were reported just prior to the onset of 60+ mph gusts at 12:30 am ADT, however gusts approaching 60 mph were recorded early Wednesday evening. At 5 am Thursday, gusts briefly reached 68 mph.
