UPPER RIDGE PROGGED TO BUILD AND STRENGTHEN ACROSS ZONES TODAY. AIRMASS
WILL REMAIN UNSTABLE THROUGH MOST OF PERIOD. HOWEVER WITH BUILDING
UPPER RIDGE STRONG CAP SHOULD KEEP CONVECTION AT A MINIMUM. A COUPLE OF
WEAK SHORTWAVES WILL MOVE ACROSS ZONES TODAY...ALONG WITH A WEAK SURGE
OF SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR AT THE SURFACE IN THE EAST. CAP SHOULD KEEP
CONVECTION LIMITED TO MTNS ZONES THIS EVENING. AN ISOLATED STORM MAY POP
IN THE EAST THIS EVENING ALSO.

FOR JULY 4TH...MONSOONAL MOISTURE CAUGHT UP IN RIDGE WILL BRING MORE
CLOUDS TO AREA. ETA BRINGS A SHORTWAVE THROUGH WESTERN ZONES IN
THE MORNING AND INTO THE EAST BY AFTERNOON. MODELS NOT PRODUCING ANY
QPF WITH THIS FEATURE. THIS PROBABLY DUE TO STRONG CAP AND EARLY
TIMING OF SHORTWAVE. WILL INSERT 20 POPS AS AN ISOLATED ELEVATED STORM
COULD DEVELOP AND TIMING OF FEATURE NOT CLEAR CUT. TEMPS WILL BE
UNDERCUT SOME FROM POTENTIAL WEDNESDAY DUE TO CLOUDS. SCARLETT

RIDGE PROGGED TO BE FLATTENED BY STRONG WAVE PLOWING ACROSS SOUTHERN
CANADA THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY. THIS WILL SEND A COLD FRONT THROUGH
THE AREA DURING THIS TIME. PREFRONTAL WARMING SHOULD SEND TEMPERATURES
WELL INTO THE 90S THURSDAY...BEFORE DROPPING BACK INTO THE 80S FRIDAY.
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY LOOKS GOOD. MORE
SHORTWAVE ENERGY PULLS INTO THE WEST SATURDAY. INSTABILITY LOW ENOUGH
AND WAVE STRONG ENOUGH TO WARRANT POPS FOR THE WEST SATURDAY. THE EAST
