A vigorous Pacific storm system brought heavy snow to the La Sal and Abajo Mountains in southeast Utah. Up to six inches of snow was reported over the mountains. In addition, a peak wind gust of 76 mph was recorded by an automated wind sensor in the La Sal Mountains.
