SOME CONVECTION STARTING TO FIRE UP OVER THE CWA...BUT COVERAGE BY
FAR HAS BEEN LESS WHEN COMPARED TO YESTERDAY. IT WOULD APPEAR THAT
THE CAP IS A BIT STRONGER THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT. SO ON THAT NOTE
WILL LIKELY CONTINUE WITH THE TREND OF ISOLATED/WIDELY SCTD STORMS
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS THE GENERAL SYNOPTIC PATTERN IS PROGGED
TO REMAIN ESSENTIALLY UNCHANGED - LITTLE BY WAY OF UPPER LEVEL S/W
ENERGY...A DEEP BUT LIGHT SSWLY FLOW AND PWS HOVERING JUST UNDER 2
INCHES. THE SEABREEZE LOOKS TO BE PRIMARY FOCUS SHOULD WE SEE ANY-
THING FIRE UP. RAIN CHANCES MAY IMPROVE SLIGHTLY BY THE WEEKEND AS
A WEAK COLD FRONT EDGES SWD OFF THE PLAINS. WHILE THE FRONT ITSELF
IS NOT EXPECTED TO MAKE IT ALL THE WAY DOWN INTO SE TX (OK APPEARS
TO BE ITS SOUTHERNMOST EXTENT)...ITS PROXIMITY COULD PROVIDE A BIT
MORE UPPER SUPPORT FOR WIDELY SCTD PCPN. THE BIG CHANGE LOOKS TO
OCCUR EARLY NEXT WEEK (SHOULD WE VERIFY). THE GENERALLY FLAT UPPER
PATTERN PROGGED TO GIVE WAY TO A HIGHLY AMPLIFIED ONE AS THE RIDGE
OVER THE SRN ROCKIES STARTS TO BUILD AND TX FALLS INTO A NWLY FLOW
ALOFT. THIS SCENERIO COULD HELP PUSH A COOL FRONT INTO THE FA LATE
MONDAY. NORTHLY WINDS IN AUGUST - IMAGINE THAT. IN THE INTERIM...
WILL STICK WITH A TEMPERATURE REGIME BORDERING ON PERSISTENCE WITH
SOME TWEAKS VIA GUIDANCE THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE. 41/45
