LAPS CAPES ARE HIGHEST IN VCNTY OF ILM AND ALONG NE NC/VA BORDER. LI FROM 12Z MHX SOUNDING IS -7.7 WITH A WBZ OF 9110. THIS IN CONCERT WITH GOOD OMEGA WORKING INTO OUR CWA, A STRONG VORT THAT IS EVIDENT ON SATELLITE WATER VAPOR LOOP, AND ADDED INSTABILITY DUE TO DAYTIME HEATING INDICATE A DECENT POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS. AS FAR AS FCST GOES AM CONSIDERING RAISING POPS BASED ON SATELLITE AND RADAR TRENDS AS WELL AS LAPS THETA-E ANALYSIS.
