INDICES IN THE 105 TO 115 RANGE INLAND AREAS THIS AFTERNOON...WITH
INDICES AROUND 100 DOWNWIND OF THE LAKES.

SHORT WAVE AND ASSOCIATED CONVECTION EXITING THE NORTH COUNTRY THIS
MORNING. ROUGE CELL CROSSING CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY WILL REACH NORTHERN
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY BEFORE DYING OUT.

MODIFIED 12Z KBUF SOUNDING SUGGESTING A VERY UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE THIS
AFTERNOON WITH A SLIGHTLY WEAKER CAP THAN YESTERDAY. CAPES UP TO 4000
J/KG AND LIFTED INDEX VALUES DOWN TO -8. COLD FRONT STILL WELL
UPSTREAM...SO MAIN TRIGGER WOULD BE A LAKE BREEZE BOUNDARY. BOUNDARY
PROBABLY SETTING UP ALONG THE SOUTHERN TIER INTO THE WESTERN FINGER
