What happened

The episode as NWS PHI wrote it up.

A hot and humid air mass pushed daytime high temperatures into the lower and middle 90s across much of central and southern New Jersey. Slightly cooler weather occurred near the shore and in northwest New Jersey. A cold front stalled across the region on the 26th. The clouds prevented temperatures from reaching the 90s again. This front slipped south of the region by the morning of the 27th. Highest temperatures included 97 degrees in Belle Mead (Somerset County) and Pennsauken (Camden County), 96 degrees in Iselin (Middlesex County), 95 degrees in Sandy Hook (Monmouth County), Chatham (Morris County) and Mount Holly (Burlington County), 94 degrees in New Brunswick (Middlesex County), Red Bank (Monmouth County) and West Deptford (Gloucester County), 93 degrees in Washington's Crossing (Mercer County) and 92 degrees at the Atlantic City International Airport.
