Rainfall of two to four inches caused flooding of roads and low areas. Up to four feet of water covered some main roads in Sioux Falls. Flooding at construction sites included 2 to 3 feet of water which had to be pumped out of the site of the new jail in Sioux Falls. Street flooding also occurred in Hartford. Some basements were flooded.
