Gusty winds and heavy snow occurred over much of the Nebraska Panhandle,especially over the southern half. Snowfall amounts as high as 12 inches were reported at Lodgepole, NE and northwest of Harrisburg, with amounts of 6 to 9inches common elsewhere. Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 30 were closed over all of the panhandle with drifts as high as 3 feet in some areas.
