THINNING OUT ACROSS THE NORTH. HAVE BOOSTED HIGHS IN THE IMPERIAL
AND AINSWORTH GROUPS. ALTHOUGH SOME MID AND HIGH CLOUDS WILL BE
PRESENT THIS AFTERNOON...SOME SUNSHINE WILL ALLOW HIGH TO REACH 80
TO 85 MOST AREAS. CIRCULATION NOTED ON WV IMAGERY OVER SRN UTAH
WHILE A H25 JET MAX IxN SRN WY PROVIDING NICE DIVERGENCE FIELD OVER
WRN AND CENTRAL COLORADO ATTM. NEW ETA STILL CONSISTENT WITH SHOWERS

ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OF THE OUTLOOK
AREA TONIGHT. A FEW STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS MAY MOVE OUT OF
THE HIGH PLAINS INTO SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA THIS
EVENING AND APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS...BUT WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER
IS NOT ANTICIPATED.
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE OUT OF THE CENTRAL ROCKIES INTO
THE CENTRAL PLAINS TONIGHT. THIS WILL LEAD TO THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT FAVORING WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA THIS
EVENING. DAYTIME HEATING WILL BE LIMITED OVER NORTHERN PORTIONS OF
THE AREA DUE TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES TODAY. HOWEVER...SUNSHINE IS
EXPECTED TO BREAK OUT BY AFTERNOON OVER SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
AREA WHICH WILL RESULT IN GREATER INSTABILITY. THE GREATEST THREAT
FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO DEVELOP WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST IN A
WEAKENED STATE THROUGH THE NIGHT AS THEY TRAVEL EASTWARD THROUGH
THE OUTLOOK AREA.

An extended period of rainfall resulted in flash flooding along Calf Creek located in Southwest Cherry county as runoff increased. Storm total precipitation for the period indicated 7.1 inches of rainfall on the North Platte radar. The public reported a total of 7 inches with several culverts washed out.
