WILL UPDATE THIS MORNING TO LOWER POPS SOME AREAS. 12Z ETA CONTINUES TO
MOVE VIGOROUS VORTICITY CENTER ACROSS NORTHERN MONTANA THIS AFTERNOON.
SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENTS BEGINNING TO TIGHTEN IN RESPONSE TO THIS
FEATURE. POTENTIAL STILL EXISTS FOR HIGH WINDS AND WILL LEAVE WARNING IN
PLACE. 12Z ETA H7 WIND SPEEDS HAVE BACK OFF A BIT FROM PREVIOUS RUN
THOUGH 88D INDICATES 50 KT WINDS HAVE NOW DROPPED TO 13K FEET OVER THE
RDA. CLOUDS HAVE BROKEN UP OVER WESTERN PORTION OF THE CWA AND WILL
LOWER POPS AS NOTHING SEEN UPSTREAM. EMANUEL

EXTENDED...MRF CONTINUES TO FLIP/FLOP SOLUTIONS FOR THIS WEEKEND AND
WILL BE REJECTED AS AN EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE PROGNOSTIC TOOL. ECMWF HAS
BEEN A BIT MORE CONSISTENT SLIDING A WEAK TROUGH THROUGH NORTHERN
ROCKIES BY SUNDAY. WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO GOING FORECAST. MPJ
