A LOT OF WEATHER TO CONTEND WITH THIS MORNING. RADAR INDICATING SOME
SHOWERS OVER THE FAR NRN ZONES BUT THEY SHOULD BE MOVING OUT OF AREA BY
NOON. LATEST ETA/NGM FORECAST A SHORTWAVE TO MOVE THROUGH SW MT THIS
AFTERNOON. WILL RAISE POPS A TAD AT BZN SO AS TO BE ABLE TO WORD THE
FORECAST AS SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY. LATEST SPC OUTLOOK HAS FERGUS
COUNTY UNDER A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATER THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. WILL MENTION A POSSIBILITY OF HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS FOR A
PORTION OF SW AND CENTRAL MT INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. FORECAST FREEZING
LEVELS GET LOW ENOUGH SUN THAT WILL NEED TO MENTION POSSIBILITY OF SNOW
FOR AT LEAST THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS. WILL LOWER FORECAST HIGHS TODAY A
LITTLE AT GTF AND HLN AND RAISE THEM SOME FOR LWT ZONE GROUPING. LOOKING
AHEAD TO SUN LATEST ETA/NGM DEVELOP A CLOSED UPPER LOW OVER WY WITH FLOW
ALOFT BACKING TO SE OVER THE PLAINS OF THE FORECAST AREA. AT THE SURFACE
MODELS HAVE AN INVERTED SURFACE TROUGH FROM SE MT TO N CENTRAL MT. THIS
POSITION IS FARTHER W THAN RUNS FROM LAST NIGHT. LATEST ETA/NGM DEVELOP
SIGNIFICANT 12HR QPF VALUES OF NEAR AN INCH AND A HALF NEAR AND E OF THE
