A vigorous upper air disturbance produced snow showers across the Maryland Eastern Shore during the early morning of the 26th. Accumulations averaged between 1 and 3 inches. Secondary and tertiary roadways were slippery, mainly before sunrise. Specific accumulations included 3.5 inches in Federalsburg (Caroline County), 2.5 inches in Galena (Kent County), 1 inch in Easton (Talbot County) and 0.8 inches in Stevensville (Queen Anne's County). This was the last widespread measurable snow of the season for the Eastern Shore.
