RADAR MOSAIC PAINTING ISOLATED/SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN CWA WHERE THE JUICIEST AIR RESIDES. BEST STORMS
FIRING UP OVER DELMARVA. WARM FRONT TO LIFT NORTH OF THE AREA THE
NEXT 18 TO 24 HOURS AS COLD FRONT NOW OVER THE GREAT LAKES
APPROACHES EAST COAST. NORTHERN CWA WILL SEE AND INCREASE IN DEW
POINTS AS WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTH. DOESN/T APPEAR WE/LL SEE DP/S IN
THE 50S...LIKE THIS MORNING...AGAIN UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING BEHIND THE
COLD FRONT. WILL THROW IN MENTION OF PATCHY FOG AND HAZE TONIGHT AND
TOMORROW. WOULDN/T BE SURPRISED TO SEE SOME PATCHY OVERCAST BY
MORNING AS MOST OF CWA SHOULD CLEAR OUT NICELY TONIGHT ALLOWING
MINIMAL T/DP SPREADS.

H5 POLAR VORTEX STILL SITTING NEAR HUDSON BAY WITH ANOTHER OVER THE
GULF OF ALASKA. RIDGING WITH FAIR AMPLIFICATION IN BETWEEN WILL HELP
BRING SOME COOLER...LESS STICKY CONDITIONS FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.
HAVE SLOWED DOWN PRECIPITATION WITH THIS PACKAGE HOLDING IT OFF FOR
THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE CWA UNTIL THIRD PERIOD. APPEARS COLD FRONT
WILL HAVE LITTLE TROUBLE CLEARING THE ENTIRE CWA FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY UNLIKE RECENT FRONTS WHICH HAVE HUNG UP. BEST DYNAMICS
STILL REMAIN TO OUR NORTH THOUGH WITH MAIN S/W.

PRECIPITABLE WATERS REMAIN IMPRESSIVE AHEAD OF COLD FRONT. 12Z PROGS
INDICATE 1.50-2.00 INCH AMOUNTS TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. THIS
LEVEL OF AVAILABLE MOISTURE COULD EASILY PRODUCE ISOLATED 3.00-4.00
INCH AMOUNTS WITH THUNDERSTORMS. BEST CAPES ARE PROGGED AWAY FROM
ANY MARINE INFLUENCE AND WHERE MOST WARMING IS EXPECTED. PER 12Z
ETA...1300 TO 2000 J/KG COULD BE A LITTLE UNDERDONE...CONSIDERING
WE/RE EXCEEDING 3000 J/KG THIS AFTERNOON. H8 JET ISN/T TERRIBLY
EXCITING...25-30 KTS.

THE EXTENDED LOOKS DRY ATTM AS AFOREMENTIONED POLAR CIRCULATIONS
EITHER FILL OR MOVE EAST. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR A MORE ZONAL FLOW
ACROSS THE NORTHERN TIER STATES. TEMPERATURES SHOULD REMAIN AT OR
BELOW NORMAL.
