APPROACHES THE AREA...DEEPER MOISTURE AND MAIN AREA OF RAIN
MAY GRADUALLY SHIFT EAST OF THE TERMINAL AREAS. STILL PLENTY OF
RESIDUAL MOISTURE SO DO NOT SEE MUCH CHANCE FOR SIGNIFICANT
IMPROVEMENT IN CEILINGS THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD. WILL FORECAST
MOSTLY MVFR CONDITIONS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON WITH CEILINGS LOWERING

Numerous creeks out of banks, some bridges washed out, and roads under water. Motorists were stranded on Interstate 35 across the county. Interstate 35 near Troy was closed most of the day with water 10 feet deep in some spots.
