SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD END AS THE AIR STABILIZES EARLY THIS EVENING...BUT UNLIKE LAST NIGHT...SCATTERED SHOWERS MAY PERSIST DURING THE NIGHT. THUNDERSTORMS LOOK LIKE A GOOD BET TOMORROW. WEAK...COMPLEX SURFACE LOW PRESSURE WAS OVER THE GREAT LAKES THIS AFTERNOON. AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE WAS OVER NORTHWEST INDIANA. UPPER LEVEL SHORT WAVES APPEARED TO BE OVER SOUTHEAST INDIANA...WEST ILLINOIS AND IOWA ROTATING AROUND THE UPPER LOW. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER THE FORECAST AREA. THE UPPER SHORT WAVES OVER ILLINOIS AND IOWA MAY KEEP SCATTERED SHOWERS GOING OVERNIGHT OVER THE AREA. MODELS ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT THAT THE UPPER LOW WILL ROTATE NORTH TONIGHT...AND A SIGNIFICANT UPPER SHORT WAVE WILL ROTATE THROUGH THE AREA TOMORROW.
