NARRATIVE SYNOPTIC DISCUSSION FOR WAKE ISLAND

A SURFACE RIDGE WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY ABOUT 550 MILES NORTH
OF WAKE.  SOUTH OF THE RIDGE...EASTERLY TRADE WINDS WILL BLOW ACROSS
WAKE AT 10 TO 20 KNOTS.  THE HEAVY SHOWERS THAT WERE AROUND WAKE
YESTERDAY HAVE DISSIPATED AND THERE ARE ONLY SCATTERED LOW CLOUDS
OVER THE AREA. BROKEN HIGH CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH A JET STREAM WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER WAKE FROM THE WEST NORTHWEST.  NO SIGNIFICANT
SWELL IS EXPECTED.
