CONVECTION FIRING IN THE VICINITY OF THE SAV RIVER IN AREA OF HIGHER
MOISTURE CONVERGENCE ALONG SRN EDGE OF SUBSIDENCE OVER SC. EXPECT
STRONG WINDS TO BE THE BIG THREAT THIS AFTN WITH POSSIBLE HAIL AS
WELL. WILL MAINLY BASE TONIGHTS POPS ON RADAR CLOSER TO ISSUANCE
TIME. MODELS VARY GREATLY ON LOCATION AND TIMING OF SHORTWAVE ENERGY
MOVING THROUGH THE AREA OVER THE SHORT RANGE. WATER VAPOR INDICATES
ELONGATED VORT ENERGY EXPECTED STRETCHED ACROSS SRN PORTION OF CWA
AND SHOULD MOVE INTO AREA TONIGHT. EXPECT TO HAVE A DECREASING
CHANCE OF CONVECTION WITH TIME AS FLOW AROUND REMNANTS OF ALLISON
WEAKENS BUT CANNOT RULE OUT A 20 TO 30 POP FOR MOST OF THE PERIOD.
BIG DIFFERENCES IN MODEL GUID ON MOVEMENT OF ALLISON AND PLAN TO
TAKE A MIDDLE OF THE ROAD APPROACH AS SUSPECT ALLISON WILL LINGER
LONGER THAN AVN SUGGESTS AND COULD SPEND SOME TIME OVER WATER AGAIN
BUT DETAILS ARE STILL UP IN THE AIR AT THIS POINT. DOWNSLOPE
CONDITIONS TO CONTINUE WITH TEMPS IN 90S. WILL TREND TOWARDS COOLER
MINS BASED ON FEWER CLOUDS THAN FCST AND LESS WIND AT NIGHT.

AVN TRYING TO BRING FRONTAL BNDRY THROUGH THE CWA SAT NIGHT. STILL
SOME UNCERTAINTY WITH THIS SCENARIO. NE FLOW BEHIND THIS FRONT COULD
POSE A PROBLEM PARTICULARLY FOR MARINE INTERESTS IF IT PANS
OUT...OTHERWISE W TO SW FLOW TO CONTINUE OVER THE WATERS WITH
