934 AM CDT THU JUN 14 2001

WILL MAKE A FEW CHANGES TO THE COASTAL COUNTIES FORECAST.  THE
FORECAST PROBLEM OF THE DAY CONCERNS CLOUD COVER...WINDS...AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.  THE MESO-ETA LOOKED A BIT STRONG IN PUSHING
RAIN CHANCES IN SE TX TODAY...BUT FEEL IT MAY BE SOMEWHAT ON TRACK.

WILL KEEP MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES IN THE FORECAST...THOUGH ENOUGH SUN WILL
PEAK THROUGH THE CLOUDS TO ALLOW THE TEMPERATURE TO REACH THE LOWER TO
MID 90S INLAND.  THE CAP IS STILL EVIDENT ON THE CRP SOUNDING...BUT IS
ERODED ON THE LCH SOUNDING.  CAPES WERE FROM 4200 TO 5000...MOISTURE
WAS EVIDENT ON THE WATER VAPOR AND PW/S WERE NEAR 1.8.  WITH THESE
FACTORS IN MIND...FEEL ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL POSSIBLE.  THE
PRESSURE GRADIENT ALONG THE COAST WAS TIGHT ENOUGH TO ALLOW WINDS TO
GET TO 15 TO 25 MPH.  WILL UPDATE THE FORECAST TO CHANGE THE COASTAL
COUNTIES.
