SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER EAST CENTRAL NEVADA TODAY.
THIS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO CLIMB TO ABOVE NORMAL WITH LIGHT
WINDS. THERE IS STILL A THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY AROUND THE
MOUNTAINS TODAY...THEN FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NEVADA AND AREAS
SOUTH AND EAST OF LAS VEGAS FOR MOST OF THE WEEK. TEMPERATURES WILL
LOWER BACK TO NEAR NORMAL BY THE END OF THE WEEK AS PACIFIC LOW
PRESSURE APPROACHES.

HIGH NEXT TWO DAYS. THIS DEFINITELY DIFFERENT FROM YESTERDAY WHEN
MODELS WANTED TO DRY THE AIR MASS MORE QUICKLY. LIKE YESTERDAY...ETA
MODEL INITIALIZED THE LOW LEVEL MOISTURE BETTER THEN THE AVN. DO NOT

Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down several power lines near City Hall and the local library and both buildings had to be evacuated. One of the power lines also fell onto a womans car trapping her for over half an hour. The woman was uninjured, but the car received minor damage.
