East Fork DOT maintenance camp reported these conditions on the 7 am report..."12-14" New Snow, TRAVEL ADVISORY issued for Heavy Snowfall, Very icy Conditions, Travel NOT Recommended".Heavy snow was reported at the Chulitna Lodge through 6 am Tuesday. Chulitna DOT maintenance camp (further south) reported 'about a foot' of new snow along the Parks Highway north of Milepost 156.At the "Igloo", further up the Parks Highway, snowfall totals of 1 foot were reported Monday morning. Reports also indicated up to 14" of new snow East Fork. By Tuesday morning, "Igloo" reports logged only an additional 3 inches of wet snow...with added comments wind in the area.Tuesday morning, Colorado Lake (MP 170 Parks Highway) reported 28" of new snow since Sunday. Heaviest snowfall occurred Sunday night and Monday night.
