A low pressure system over the Appalachians on Saturday, March 11th, moved northeast across southern New England on Sunday, March 12th. Snowfall across the county was around 6 inches. Thetford Center reported 5.5 inches while Brookfield reported 6 inches. The snow mixed with sleet and freezing rain at times.
