A storm system moved across New York and New England Tuesday, April 4th, with steady rain. Mild temperatures resulted in melting mountain snows. As a result, many streams and rivers rose to bank-full or above with some flooding. Specifically, in Orleans county, The Black River flooded fields through the afternoon of April 4th. The Clyde River exceeded flood stage during the afternoon of April 4th until early on April 5th with mostly field flooding reported.
