October 28-29 Episode NarrativeHeavy rain and thunderstorms developed across the southwestern portions of North Texas, generally in a line from Goldthwaite to Glen Rose. Additional activity was observed from Glen Rose to Cleburne to Plano, and from Mineral Wells to Gainesville. Some of the thunderstorms which developed caused wind damage across the southwestern counties.

Trees were blown down by high thunderstorm winds in the northwest part of the county.
High thunderstorm winds damaged roofs and fences. A large tree was uprooted and a large storage barn and horse shed were destroyed. A horse in the shed was killed when the shed collapsed.
