A strong low pressure system over Alberta Canada moved rapidly southeast tracking from northwest to southeast NorthDakota. The system brought winds and snow across the region. Strong winds developed on the back side of this system across western through extreme south central areas of North Dakota. Wind speeds between 60 to near 75 mph.were reported . This is the same storm system which brought heavy snow across north and east central areas of the region.
