Road flooding along with downed trees were reported in Lowes Corners and Claryville in Neversink Township in the extreme northeastern portion of Sullivan county. The flooding was casued by runoff from prolonged heavy rainfall which fell upstream over the Catskill Mountains of Ulster county. The runoff primarily affected the Roundout Creek basin in Sullivan county. Several roads remained flooded into the morning of 7/15/00.
