Heavy lake effect snow affected northern Oneida County over about a 24 hour period. Snowfall rates were 1 to 2 inches per hour at the event's peak between 2 and 6 AM EST. Snowfall amounts were 6 to 13 inches in the towns of Lee, Western, Forestport, and Boonville.
