Flood in New Jersey, March 23 to 25, 2000
Runoff from the heavy rain the night of the 21st and the early morning of the 22nd led to flooding along the Maurice River in Cumberland County from the evening of the 23rd into the evening of the 25th. Flood waters surrounded several homes in the county, but no major damage or injuries were reported.

Runoff from the heavy rain the night of the 21st and the early morning of the 22nd led to flooding along the Maurice River in Cumberland County from the evening of the 23rd into the evening of the 25th. Flood waters surrounded several homes in the county, but no major damage or injuries were reported. The Maurice River at Norma was above its 4 foot flood stage from 9 p.m. EST on the 23rd through 7 p.m. EST on the 25th. It crested at 4.2 feet at 615 a.m. EST on the 24th. Storm totals in and around the Maurice River drainage basin averaged 5 inches and included 5.28 inches in Woodstown (Salem County), 5.05 inches in Seabrook (Cumberland County), 4.96 inches in Elk Township (Gloucester County) and 4.41 inches in Millville (Cumberland County).
