Heavy rainfall of 4 to 5 inches across Western Fisher and Eastern Scurry counties caused the Clear Fork of the Brazos River to climb out of its banks. The river crested near Roby at around 23 feet on the afternoon of the 23rd, or about 1 foot above flood stage. Minor flooding was reported, with Highway 70 and Farm Road 2832 closed due to high water. However, no injuries or significant damage was reported.
