A strong low pressure system over Newfoundland produced gusty, northwest winds over the Lakes Region. The gusty winds downed trees and limbs causing widely scattered power outages. A downed tree damaged a mobile home in Bridgewater. Another downed tree disrupted traffic on Route 3 in Laconia. Peak wind gusts were measured at 48 mph in Concord and 41 mph in Laconia.
